Set in one of the town’s architectural landmarks, Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells is a Grade II-listed mansion, built originally as a private residence. Inside, we’ve painstakingly retained the building’s Georgian features, while carefully adding our own unique touches to the 34 bedrooms, bistro, bar and private rooms. Outside, we’ve paid careful attention to the gardens and enhanced the terrace, the perfect place for a Champagne reception with the beautifully manicured lawn as the backdrop.

Words will never truly do justice to how incredible our wedding day was at Hotel du Vin, Tunbridge Wells on 27th May 2025, but we’re going to try, because the entire team there deserves the highest praise imaginable.

From the very beginning, when we first contacted the hotel about having our wedding there, we were met with nothing but kindness, warmth, and complete professionalism. Sophia and Lauren were simply outstanding. From that first conversation to the very last moment of the big day, they made everything feel effortless. They were so much more than wedding coordinators, they became a core part of our planning journey, always available, always calm, and always full of brilliant ideas.

In the lead up to the wedding, nothing was ever too much trouble. Sophia and Lauren were there for every question, every small worry, every logistical change, and they handled it all with a reassuring smile and total competence. We felt supported every step of the way, and as our wedding day approached, we had complete peace of mind knowing we were in such capable hands.

And then… the day itself. Perfect doesn’t even begin to cover it.

From the moment we arrived, everything ran like clockwork. The hotel looked absolutely stunning,  classic, elegant, full of charm and character. The ceremony space was beautiful, the reception setup was flawless, and the overall atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of love. Every detail had been thought of and handled so carefully, it was clear how much love and pride the team put into what they do.

Every member of the staff went above and beyond. The level of service was exceptional, and yet it never felt forced, just natural, friendly, and so genuine. One other person who truly stood out to us was Serhii. We'd met him on previous visits for drinks and meals at the hotel, and every single time, he remembered us and made a point of saying hello. That personal touch meant so much. On the wedding day, he was just as warm and kind as ever, and it really added something special to our experience.

We also want to say thank you to Jake, who was an absolute star in making sure everything went smoothly as well.

And the food… what can we say? Absolutely divine. The chefs created something truly special, beautifully presented, full of flavour, and loved by every single one of our guests. So many people came up to us during the evening (and even days after) to say how incredible the meal was. It was a true dining experience and added such a special touch to the celebration.

Looking back, we wouldn’t change a single thing. Hotel Du Vin gave us the wedding of our dreams. The whole experience was full of love, attention to detail, and incredible people who genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible.

To Sophia, Lauren, Jake, Serhii, the chefs, and every single person who played a role in our day, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped create a day that we’ll never forget and memories we’ll treasure forever.

We recently got married and had our reception at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. Sophia who is the Sales & Events Manager met with us to discuss what we wanted on our day. We met with her a number of times throughout planning our day and she was lovely, kind, friendly and extremely helpful. She made everything go ahead with no complications or stress, making the planning of a wedding very easy. We would recommend her to everyone and thank her so much for making our day amazing!

I got married at Hotel du Vin a few days ago, the service we received was flawless. The weather was hit and miss, and thankfully the team pulled out all the stops to make sure we could still have the wedding of our dreams, allocating us another function room which was available for the drinks reception while they set up the main function room for our wedding breakfast. Everyone commented on how stunning the venue was and the team were superb. We genuinely had the best day ever.

We held our wedding here; ceremony, dinner and evening reception, plus stayed overnight for two nights. I cannot fault the service we received. Sophia the event manager was amazing, very unflappable and everything ran like clockwork leaving us both very calm and able to enjoy the day. The wedding breakfast food was very tasty and plentiful.

Well what can I say, I will start with Sophia one of the events team. She helped me for months organising all the little details (there was a lot)! All the staff was very attentive and extremely helpful. The food was all perfect even my grandma at 84 said it’s one of the best meals she's had.
The crème brûlée is amazing and the portions are great. The evening before the wedding I stayed in the suite it was wonderful. There were so many wonderful staff. Sophia and Lauren both stood out to us , Bella, Keira, Frankie, and Tiffany. All worked extremely hard. If your thinking of staying the night, getting married or just going for a meal do it you will not regret it. You will be seriously looked after. If anyone from Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells is reading this, thank you for everything we will definitely be returning.
